Join a public consultation

  1. When a project requires an environmental impact assessment, the public consultation opens on the Participa portal and lasts 30 working days.
  2. Anyone can submit an opinion. The consultation report summarises the prevailing opinions and their representativeness, so many individual, well-argued submissions count.
  3. Write in your own words and about this specific project: odour, trucks, water, distance to homes, combined effects. Each person submits for themselves rather than copying an identical text.

As of 16 October 2026 no public consultation for this project had been found on Participa. If one opens, we will announce it in the agenda and by email.

Request the documents (LADA)

Anyone can request administrative documents and environmental information without saying why.

The body has 10 days to reply. If it does not reply or refuses, you can complain to CADA within 20 days.

Speak at Câmara and Assembleia meetings

Municipal Assembly meetings are public, and its rules of procedure set a period for the public to speak and ask for clarification.

People in the public gallery may not interrupt or demonstrate outside that period. Prepare a short, concrete question: public interventions are recorded in the minutes.

See the agenda for the next meetings and sign up with the body's secretariat before it starts.
